A new customer contacted Pipe Works Services because his air conditioning was not working. The Pipe Works Services technician ran into a slight problem with the coil being frozen. Jimmy turned the unit on and hooked up measuring equipment and found the system running low on charge. Jimmy advised the homeowner of charging with and without sealant. The homeowner chose to charge with sealant. This measure didn't work, and the customer called a few weeks later and stated that it wasn't working correctly. Pipe Works Services technician Zach was then dispatched and confirmed the leak was somewhere in the coil and could not be repaired properly without high energy loss from the leak. so, an option for a new air conditioning system was presented. We installed a 3.5 Ton Armstrong Air Conditioning with air handler and Aprilaire thermostat. This customer was happy with our service and now receives nice cool air in the summertime!
