Air Conditioning - Clogged Condensate Line in Summit, NJ

The customer stated his AC we installed in 2015 was not working. The tech said the outdoor unit is not turning on. He found the clogged condensate line, and also in the outdoor unit he found a clogged outdoor condenser coil. All this is caused by lack of maintenance and not related to equipment or installation errors. The customer went ahead with the drain cleaning service. The tech ran nitrogen through the drain system to clear all obstructions and then treated it with chemicals. The technician tested for proper drainage and found no issue with the drain at this time. He advised the customer about the yearly maintenance of drain and HVAC equipment. He presented options on cleaning the outdoor condenser, he removed all the jackets and covers. Lastly, he applied the chemical treatment to the condenser coil allowing the chemicals to sit and then rinsed off the coil.
