We sent out a technician to this home in Madison, NJ to repair a humidifier. Once the tech had time to diagnose the problem it was beyond repair. The technician suggested a replacement for the humidifier instead. The tech removed the existing humidifier and installed a new bypass humidifier including a new humidistat, electrical and bypass piping. This will allow house to stay above normal humidification and help maintain house. He removed the existing bypass humidifier and installed a new bypass humidifier with new humidistat and all wiring including outdoor temperature sensor. Now the home owner will not have dry forced hot air during the winter months.
