Our HVAC tech performed a heating PSA. The customer mentioned that when she had maintenance done last year by another company they found water in the housing for the inducer motor. During inspection he checked the inducer and found water in it again. He also found the filter in need of replacement as well as humidifier pad. He explained to the customer that the inducer motor housing was filling up with water because one of the heat exchangers was dirty and not properly draining. He also discussed with customer replacing the 1 inch filter with a 5 inch media and new housing for it. The customer will supply her own filters for the time being. Performed combustion analysis, and it was well within range.
