Customer called into Pipe Works Service after noticing some water pressure issues in his home.

Our plumber Nick was called to a home in Cedar Grove, New Jersey to inspect a high-efficiency furnace pipe. The intake air pipe was white while the exhaust pipe was a noticeably darker color.

A new customer who found us online was looking to get his sewer line replaced. One of our senior technicians Jonathan went to the home to video inspect the line to see if there was a repair or deep clog that required replacement. The video inspection of the main sewer line showed that a hydro scouring was needed because there was a major clog, which means cleaning the entire line completely and that would determine whether the line was in good shape for a possible new lining.

The customer called in after noticing the old cast iron sewer pipe was way past its life expectancy and started to show signs of cracking.

The customer had reached out to us about her having an issue with some freezing pipes in their home. She called us initially wanting a plumber to come out and fix the piping. After our plumber came out he realized it was not a plumbing issue but that it would better serve the customer to have the problem area insulated instead of constantly having to replace pipes. Our comfort advisor Rob came out and went over the entire process and the permanent solution we were going to implement.

This customer in Union, NJ called for a clogged basement toilet. What our technician found was much more than an ordinary toilet call. There were several issues with the plumbing in the basement. First, the sewage ejector pump for the basement bath had failed, and the pit was full of water. The pump was plugged in using several extension cords, which had overheated and melted together. The piping near the ejector was leaking and patched up with duct tape. While examining the sewage ejector, it was discovered that the 4" cast iron sewer line running under the floor was rotted out under the concrete floor.
