Kurt came out first to do an assessment, and did an amazing job. Thorough, professional, and exact. Then, 4 days later Chris, Phil, Jose, and Jorge came to do the demo of our old boiler and water heater, and install of the new ones. We could not possibly be happier with the results! They did an incredible job, the new pipework from both systems are beautiful, and most importantly, the heat in the house is perfect and evenly distributed. If you want perfection, hire Pipe Works. They are the best.

The homeowners of this residence were experiencing cold floors and temperature control issues on the first floor. After using our thermal imaging camera we were able to show them how much of their energy was being wasted due to the crawl space under the home. Upon further inspection we also found exposed duct work. (Before the work began the technicians removed the old fiberglass insulation). This means the cold or warm air in the ducts was being altered causing the HVAC system to work harder to keep the temperature accurate in the home. The solution was to encapsulate the crawl space with matting on the dirt floor, Spray Foam insulation on the walls & duct work, and dense packing the garage ceiling with cellulose insulation. This combination will keep the temperatures accurate, save wear and tear on the HVAC, and make the home a healthier space.
The home owner was experiencing frequent clogs and back ups in her home. Our System Design Specialist went to the home to perform a video camera inspection of the line. Upon viewing the interior of the sewer line we discovered major rust and tree root infiltration in the line. Our technicians had to make a small dig outside the home because there was no clean out access inside the basement. The cut out one section of the pipe in order to perform a scouring and hydro jetting inside the line. Due to tree root infiltration there were many cracks in the line and they opted to perform a pipe lining instead of a huge dig to replace the entire line.
Our system design specialist was called out to give a diagnosis for a drafty home in New Providence, NJ. Due to a crawl space under the home the home owners were not able to regulate the temperature and moisture in the room above the crawl space. The installation techs arrived at the home to install Terr Block insulation on walls including spray foam. They laid down drainage matting to keep moisture and insects to a minimum as well. After the job was completed they also removed all the old and moldy insulation and disposed of it for the customer. Now the home owners have better comfort and air quality in the home.
Replaced old water softener for customer.
This homeowner was experiencing major drafts and temperature control issues in their home in Chatham, New Jersey. Our System Design Specialist used a thermal camera on the floor above this crawl space and detected a major difference in temperature above this space. Our technicians were sent to the home to first install a David Lewis Attic Pull-Down Stair Hatch Cover. After installing it they also installed insulation to seal the hatch. Before installing any of the insulation in the crawl space, the techs removed the old moldy and damaged insulation in the crawl area.
The CleanSpace Encapsulation System was selected for the crawl space as well as, drainage matting, terra block, and spray foam. This combination is highly effective and will cut down on utility bills for these homeowners.
Installation of a Steam Boiler in Madison, NJ.
We recently responded to a commercial insulation inquiry for a local law firm experiencing discomfort in the offices even though the heating and cooling system was running. Our System Design Specialist went to the office and after viewing the large duct work Lloyd recommended spray foam to encapsulate the ducts. The spray foam will seal any cracks or holes and keep the ducts from excessive temperatures.
Our technicians Pablo and Jorge arrived at the job site and started prepping by covering the floor from the kitchen door to the attic, and then proceeded to encapsulate the duct system in the attic with 1 inch polyurethane spray foam. Additionally they applied an ignition barrier and the job was completed. They cleaned thoroughly and vacuumed the floors making sure everything was clean before leaving the job.
Customer called us out for toilet issues and channel rotting in her cast iron sewer line. We replaced part of the sewer line in this persons basement with a PVC line.
Our technicians were sent to a home in Mountainside, New Jersey, that was experiencing colder than normal temperatures in an area of the home that had a crawl space underneath. The technicians started by cleaning and taking out the old cast iron pipes and other debris. The rocks, wood, metal, and moldy damaged insulation from crawl space. Then they vacuumed and started putting the drainage matting down. Then the terrablock was finally put in place, and then the liner. While doing the clean up they found a leak on the left hand side where the drain to the sewer line is and created a lead. The techs finished the area that was left without the drain matting terrablock, the clean space work was now ready to be spray foamed. They applied spray foam to the crawl space after they covered the vents with silver glow on the inside. After it was dry the techs removed all debris and trash leaving it spotless and clean. This home owner will benefit greatly from the air sealing and insulation in the crawl space. Less temperature change means lower utility costs. A more energy efficient home saves on cost but also on wear and tear of your heating and cooling system.
Our system Design Specialist went to the customers home to help diagnose some energy efficiency issues in the home. The home had an unfinished crawl space with a dirt floor and poor ventilation. He was able to determine the solution as crawl space encapsulation which would create a barrier between the exterior temperature and the temperature inside the home. Our technicians arrived at the home and installed a clean space encapsulation System with drainage matting and closed cell spray foam on walls and rim joists under the 2 additions of the home. We also installed 4 vent covers and 3 covers to access the 3 crawls spaces. The technicians removed the old contaminated insulation in floor joists of crawl spaces and disposed of it for the customer in a dumpster. The encapsulation will lower the home energy costs for the home owner and give their home heating and cooling system a long life overall.

They Air Sealed the rim joists in basement that are on exterior wall not being insulated. Install plywood under crawl area of living room to floor joists. Our technicians installed the GoldSeal Encapsulation System with drainage matting, terrablock floor insulation and spray foam on 3 exterior walls and rim joists in crawl space under kitchen. They covered 2 windows inside crawl space with 2” of silver glow and spray foam to keep the drafts out and install an insulated entry door to kitchen crawl space. They dense packed under the living room floor 9.5 inch joists with TruSoft Cellulose in crawlspace area.
