How the NJNG SAVEGREEN® Program Works for Your Home

As a homeowner in Northern & Central New Jersey, you may qualify for significant savings through the SAVEGREEN® program administered by New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG). Here’s the simple process:

Schedule a Home Energy Assessment — We’ll arrange a BPI-certified auditor to inspect insulation, air-leaks, HVAC equipment and hot-water systems.
Review Recommended Upgrades — Based on the audit, you’ll get a quote for eligible savings-measures, including equipment, insulation, air-sealing and system upgrades.
Select Your Contractor — As an approved NJNG partner, Pipe Works Services will handle installation, documentation and rebate submission for you.
Install & Apply — After work completes, you submit receipts and required documentation. Rebates are applied and you can use 0 % APR On-Bill Repayment (OBRP) financing if desired.
Enjoy Lower Bills & More Comfort — Upgraded equipment and a tighter home envelope lead to measurable savings and improved comfort, especially in chilly NJ winters.

Eligible Upgrades & Typical Rebates

High-Efficiency Furnaces (95 %-96.9 % AFUE) — typically $1,000 rebate.
Tankless Water Heaters (UEF>0.87) — typical rebate $750.
0 % APR OBRP financing up to $15,000 for 7 years (or 10 years for LMI households) allows you to spread the cost over time.
