Air Conditioning - Air Conditioning Repair and New Coil in Chatham, NJ

The customer stated his AC system was not cooling. Upon diagnosis our technician found the system extremely low on charge. He suspected a potential leak in the system, and a partial line set was replaced. He briefly inspected braze joints and found no oil residue nor any signs of leak on line set.

After further inspection he checked the condensate trap and it was heavily oil based on the trap. The technician inspected for improper water/condensate mixture and to verify leak is located on the indoor coil. He charged the system with 7 lbs of R410a to get it within specs so the customer could have AC during warranty process for new coil.
