Realized there was a leak in the ~20 year old hot water tank. Called Pipe Works Services, Inc. around noon and the technician was there in the afternoon; he explained the problem in details; gave the estimate; and the installation of the hot water tank was complete by 6 PM. Excellent service!

We had Richard out to our house to connect our gas grill. This turned into a 5 hour job for Rich as the construction of the grill was faulty and he ended up having to take the grill apart and reconstruct the igniter on a brand new grill. His patience and dedication was above and beyond for this project. He started working in the daylight and ended up having to work by flashlight and lanterns in the dark. His commitment to making sure all was working was outstanding. Thank you Pipe Works for sending such a conscientious worker. We will always request Richard for our jobs.

I've had the necessity to utilize 5 of the technicians from Pipeworks over the last several weeks for various projects. Alex, Brent, Kevin, Jimmy and Lloyd and can not say enough about their dedication to making sure the jobs were done right and to our satisfaction. On two occasions, the techs were here for several hours and well into the later part of the evening making sure all was up and running. I also like that it is very easy to schedule an appointment in a timely fashion no waiting for several weeks to have someone come out.

Kitchen Faucet Installation in Far Hills, NJ

Our technician arrived onsite to replace the customer supplied kitchen faucet and both shut off valves under the sink. The tech looked at what the customer had discussed for pricing options with customer and Platinum option was picked. He shut off the water to house and removed the faucet, soap dispenser and side sprayer. The tech removed straight stops and installed new 1/4 turn ones. He installed a new customer supplied kitchen faucet with pull down head, soap dispenser and hole cover. The tech turned the water on to the house and tested for leaks at stops, and none found at this time. Then he turned on stops and bled air from system to test for leaks, tested ok. He put soap in dispenser and pumped air out of line.

Electrical Upgrade Estimate in Far Hills, NJ

Our electrician went to customers home to give an estimate to upgrade their Electrical Panel. The 3” pvc underground seems to run all the way to the transformer and current wiring. The customer needs to upgrade to 350kcmil for 320/400amp. There is a septic line running between meter and pad.
The customer will need to move solar switching, redo wiring to transfer switch, and solar disconnects to upgrade to 400amp service.

A customer in Far Hills, NJ called Pipe Works Services about her furnace not working correctly. She previously called about the furnace being a bit noisy which we had fixed prior. Our Service Manager Mike T was out to diagnose what exactly was going on. Upon arrival, the motor wasn't working correctly and the unit was not blowing any air whatsoever. Mike continued to diagnose what exactly was the issue. He came to the conclusion that the inducer motor, which moves gases and air out of the furnace and up through the chimney, needed to be replaced. Mike T installed a new draft inducer motor and the furnace was as good as new!
