They can supply power to every circuit in your home, redirecting power between circuits as needed. That means you can use all your appliances and electronics, just not all at the same time.
Whole-house generators – As the name implies, these models supply power to your entire home just like your city’s utility grid. Except for the 10-second delay on startup, it’s as if the power had never gone out. Because a standby generator is wired into your home and connected to your fuel lines, you’ll need a professional to install the system.
