After some time diagnosing , he found the culprit to be the customer’s old pressure reducing valve . Chris was able to come up with some options and the customer decided to replace it along with new shut off valves for the home. Chris had the customer back up and running normally within a matter of hours.

Malik was called out to a home with frozen pipes in the ceiling of a garage in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. The job required us to spray foam a section of the garage ceiling to stop water lines from freezing while removing the existing fiberglass batts. We sealed all accessible rim joists to stop drafts. Spray foam was applied to the underside of the garage ceiling with 6 inches of Lapolla 4G closed-cell spray foam. Encapsulating all the exposed water lines and protecting all areas where work is being performed. They covered 2 windows inside the crawl space with 2” of silver glow and spray foam to keep the drafts out and install an insulated entry door to the kitchen crawl space. They are densely packed under the living room floor with 9.5-inch joists with TruSoft Cellulose in the crawlspace area.
We also notify the homeowners that we require that all occupants and pets vacated from the premise during the installation and for twenty-four hours after the installation after spraying the foam.
