A new customer who saw our trucks in Chatham, NJ called Pipe Works Services because their water heater was not working properly. Pipe Works Services technician Pablo diagnosed that customer had an older water heater 40 gal nat gas, and Pablo provided proper estimates to perform the job. Pablo installed a new 40 gal water heater with all code upgrades needed for inspection. Pablo installed new flue pipe for venting out excess or harmful air out, installed automatic shut off valve for heater inlet so the water heater can shut off for emergencies, installed new gas line that provides gas from the gas meter to the water heater, installed new ball valve shut off so the customer can manually shut off the water heater and showed the customer where everything is and how it functions. Pablo also installed new pan to collect any water from a potential leak, as well and tested everything for proper function and leaks, heat is set to the hot position on about 120 degrees.
