The customer called in about the attic being cold and wanting a permanent solution. Our comfort specialist Rob was able to come out to assess the situation and draw up a plan of action. After some calculations and running some tests to compile the necessary information, Rob was able to present the customer with the permanent solution the customer was looking for. Rob went over all the details of the job with the customer, and we were able to come back and complete the necessary work. The customer noticed immediate results and is on their way to a more comfortable house with lower energy bills as well.

A long-existing customer called and said his second-floor air conditioning unit was not working properly. Our HVAC technician Zach found the overflow safety switch to be tripped, which was causing the unit to not run, and also found refrigerant pressures in the system to be very low, which caused the coil to freeze and caused the overflow safety switch to trip.

The customer called in after realizing his four seasons room does not hold the temperature that he desires. It doesn't stay cold in the summer or warm in the winter. The customer called in after he noticed the additional room he added to his home, was not maintaining the temperatures he was trying to keep it at. After our comfort advisor Rob came out to inspect the home, he found the culprit. In addition to the room, the customer added it had it directly next to an unfinished crawlspace. Rob had a straightforward plan, and the customer knew it was going to take care of the issue.

The customer called in noticing that he was losing a lot of heating and cooling through the crawlspace in the home. The customer had reached out to us about her having an issue with some freezing pipes in their home. She called us initially wanting a plumber to come out and fix the piping. After our plumber came out he realized it was not a plumbing issue but that it would better serve the customer to have the problem area insulated instead of constantly having to replace pipes. Our comfort advisor Rob came out and went over the entire process and the permanent solution we were going to implement.

The customer called in with a leaking boiler. They were experiencing heat on and off and knew they had to act fast. This was a call we take very seriously, especially in the frigid temperatures that we experience in NJ. We knew our senior technician Jonny was the only option for the customer. He is our most senior technician and boiler expert.

A customer called in after noticing that one part of her house had specific furnace controls that were not working properly. Our technician Lloyd was able to come out and diagnose the issue. The customer was facing quite a substantial amount of money in repair work and thought it would be better to just replace the unit rather than spend money on an older system.

A local customer in Chatham Borough, NJ called on a cold Monday asking if we could get someone over there to give an estimate on replacing their heating system. Their carbon monoxide detector had gone off and after the utility company came over and told them the CO level was 50 ppm(parts per million). The average reading in a home is .5-5 ppm. Our comfort specialist was out of the office this day, so Paul, the owner, agreed to go over and see what he could do.

This customer in Union, NJ called for a clogged basement toilet. What our technician found was much more than an ordinary toilet call. There were several issues with the plumbing in the basement. First, the sewage ejector pump for the basement bath had failed, and the pit was full of water. The pump was plugged in using several extension cords, which had overheated and melted together. The piping near the ejector was leaking and patched up with duct tape. While examining the sewage ejector, it was discovered that the 4" cast iron sewer line running under the floor was rotted out under the concrete floor.

The customer wants a warmer basement in the winter.
